Elle travaillait dans un restaurant de sushi&#8230; ou plutot un \u00ab\u00a0sushi kappou\u00a0\u00bb. Quant elle n&rsquo;a pas su me dire ce que cela signifiait pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, une petite recherche sur Google en anglais nous a donn\u00e9 un simple \u00ab\u00a0restaurant d\u00e9tendu\u00a0\u00bb, mais cette d\u00e9finition ne lui paraissait pas forc\u00e9ment juste.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alors, c&rsquo;est quoi un <em>kappou<\/em>?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apparement, le kappou est un restaurant traditionel japonais dans lequel <strong>le patron\/chef est visible<\/strong> du comptoir ou des tables, et peu converser avec la client\u00e8le. En fait, un sushi kappou, c&rsquo;est plus ou moins ce que l&rsquo;on appelle un <strong>sushi bar<\/strong> dans l&rsquo;occident. Bien que cela soit effectivement plus d\u00e9tendu qu&rsquo;un luxurieux restaurant ryoutei (\u6599\u4ead) par example, on est tout de m\u00eame au dessus d&rsquo;un izakaya ou d&rsquo;un \u00ab\u00a0family restaurant\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">J&rsquo;ai aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 surpris d&rsquo;apprendre que les restaurants (ou kappou) de sushi servent aussi des <strong>nabe<\/strong> ou <strong>tempura<\/strong>, en particulier pour les groupes nombreux tel que les enkai (sorties entre coll\u00e8gues).
